The poo has hit the fan, we’ve made it, but there are more roadblocks on the road to Easy Property Listings 3.1

Thus far EPL has been a huge investment now well over $180 $240k and are expanding the team as planned but have hit several recent and massive roadblocks on the way. We are doing our absolute best to deliver the best real estate software for WordPress for you to use.

This week we are a team member down as Avneet’s mother is facing an operation and to me family is most important. The team here at Easy Property Listings wish her mum all the best facing this challenge and needs the support of her wonderful daughter and this short break will help her be there for her mum.

I’d drop everything to be there for my mum too and value the team like my own family, we will get through the bumps and continue on our planned path.

How to create your own custom listing templates

Easy Property Listings has an easy to use template system that allows you to create your own custom templates and use them instead of the default templates from the plugin.

All you need to do is create a folder called easypropertylistings inside your active theme or child theme. We recommend you always use a child theme because when a parent theme is updated you will lose any customisations that you have made to your theme.

Easy Property Listings 2.0 new features which required a complete re-write of core code

Its taken us a bit longer than expected to release this latest version of Easy Property Listings as we had to re-write several files that handled the hundreds of meta variables… a major clean up has taken place which will allow for faster incremental updates.

In the previous release, custom meta values were loaded just before the template file and stored in hundreds of variables. The old listing-meta.php file has been moved to a compatibility folder so you should not have any issues updating your sites to 2.0
