    Hi Merv,

Just checking to see if there are any additional steps we need to put in place in order to ensure the removal of inspection times that have passed? Or should it just work as soon as we’ve got the new plugin installed?

    Cheers,
    Grace

    Hi Merv,

Just wondering if there’s anything additional I need to do to ensure that the auction times are being added and removed properly with the new version of the plugin? I remember you saying all would be sorted by this new release.

I guess I won’t know until they edit or add some auction properties. But just thought I’d check that there wasn’t any additional steps?

    Cheers,
    Grace

    Hi Merv,

I never quite managed to add the pagination hook. Do you have that in the documentation somewhere?

    Cheers,
    Grace

I replaced the path to settings.php as the full path, and tried again. No errors, but instead my notification email contains all the HTML for the whole page, <head> tags, stylesheets and all.

    Assuming that shouldn’t be happening?

At least there are no errors now.

EDIT: actually maybe this means it’s working? It’s returning the HTML of the ‘No XML files found’ error. Which is correct at the moment, as there are none.

    Hey Merv,

Thanks for that. I updated it with your new files but I’m receiving the exact same errors, re: settings.php file and call to undefined function ‘feedsync_head’

I’m not sure if I was clear though, FeedSync is working fine when I just go to the FeedSync directory in my browser and hit the ‘process feed’ button. No worries there.

The errors are returned when my cron/scheduled task fires the feedsync_processor.php file hourly. I wouldn’t mind the errors (I know I can disable notifications), but the actual processing of the files just isn’t happening.

What could be happening differently when the server fires the file, versus the button firing the file?? Perhaps it’s just as simple as editing the cron command?

I so so hope to get this fixed this week 🙁
    Any help is so appreciated!

Nope. No luck at all. We had new properties, and the scheduled task is firing, but the properties aren’t being processed.

Is there any way you could help me to get it working before Christmas? I’ve been doing it manually up until now but I’m going to be computer-less after Christmas until mid-Jan, so automation is soooo important.

Any clues what might be happening?

    Cheers,
    Grace

    Hey Merv,

Updated, but I receive the same errors. Bummer. Maaaaajor bummer!

So as far as I can see it has an issue with the way the settings.php file is called:
    include(../settings.php)

And also the <?php // echo feedsync_head() ?> being called.

I updated the settings.php path to the full server path, and commented out the feedsync_head and I’ve received an email with no errors. That for some reason includes all the HTML of the feedsync page.

But this is positive! I might put back the feedsync_head, and disable the emails I receive and see how it goes tomorrow once they’ve added more properties.

    Cheers,
    Grace

Ah. Nevermind. I had forgotten it was bought through realestateconnected.com.au

We just did a password reset and I was able to find the download link.

Though, I think I am already using FeedSync 1.2… At least, the important files anyway. Remember when you were helping to get it working for me because it wasn’t working with the Plesk server?

Anyway, I’ll give this version a go and let you know.

    Hey Merv,

It’s me! Bet you are getting tired of seeing me pop up in your notifications.

We haven’t had any auction properties for a while, so I haven’t had a chance to try out the importing with the auction dates yet.

Authority is being set perfectly – yay!

But I just imported a property today that has an auction date set, and if unfortunately didn’t import it with the property. I have the fields in the import options set to:
    {auction[1]} and {auction[1]/@date}

But no luck. Am I doing it right?

    Cheers,
    Grace
