I can’t get the properties to display with either method you sent over.

    Doing it with Land Category:
I was able to change the Land Categories to be my sub-divisions. However, I can’t get any listings to show up even though I have put some in that category. It displays nothing found.

    Short codes:
    [listing_category post_type=”land” category_key=”property_land_category” category_value=”mogollon”]
    –Also Tried–
    [listing_category post_type=”land” category_key=”property_land_category” category_value=”Mogollon Ranch”]

    Doing it With Suburbs:
This short code: displays nothing found even though I know I have properties listed that way.

    [listing_category post_type=”property” category_key=”property_suburb” category_value=”Mogollon Ranch”]

Did you have a chance to see why the short codes we have don’t pull up any properties?
    Thank you,

I am able to navigate and log in. But I deactivated the security plugin until this is done. The regular login is now in place. Can you please take a look?

Looks like a conflict with Firestorm plugin even using [listing_category] should display all your listings but nothing appears and on my test site with Firestorm and wordpress debugger active there are errors. I’m assuming that the firestorm has a similar named shortcode.

    Error firestorm produces is:

Notice: Undefined index: ListingsPageID in \wp-content\plugins\fs-real-estate-plugin\filters.php on line 8

I’d suggest deactivating Firestorm because the shortcode does work.

These are other errors Firestorm plugin produces with WordPress debugger active.

Alternatively you can use the location taxonomy (currently called Suburb which you can change in settings)

Edit a listing, on the right hand side is Suburb, enter your location name.

This works like WordPress categories so you can automatically produce a list of listings in that location

    eg:
    http://upontherim.com/suburb/mogollon-ranch/
    http://upontherim.com/suburb/happy-jack/

BUT when you say rename the location from Suburb to say City or Town or whatever.

You will need to re-fresh your permalinks by visiting Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and just press save changes.

Yeah there are all sorts of errors. Firestorm used to be a good plugin but oh well.

So, when I remove the firestorm plugin it should work right? I can’t just use the full taxonomy as I need it separated by land and properties.

Just deactivate Firestorm and see how that works. Do a backup before hand

I deactivated it but all the shortcodes still show nothing found. What is the proper shortcode after this for pulling up the land category? I just want to make sure I have the correct one.

Also, if i just uninstall Firestorm do you think it will work?
