    Hi Merv,

Could you please tell me if this would work?

I want to assign each property listing to a member of staff. Jupix xml feed does not contain the assigned listings agents’ name; however there is a property reference field I can customise. Jupix have suggested inserting the agents initials before each reference number field. E.g. PC123456. If I create a wordpress user called PC would this be enough to assign a listing to PC please?

    Thank You!

Can you provide me the Jupix live listing URL? You may need to create a user and use their ID as the username. That would work for record matching and you can edit their first name /last name as that is what is displayed.

    Hi Merv,

    Here is an example listing:

    http://www.davidclarke.co.uk/rental/101004005516-neville-road-herne-bay/

I have tested a few things and the only way I have found for this to work is to create a wordpress author username with the staff member initials and to use the jupix property record field ‘property reference’ to match the initials, also placing the ‘property reference’ field in the wp all imports ‘post author’ box. It seems to need an exact match so I cannot put a unique reference number after the initials, but I don’t think that will be a real problem as Jupix does generate a separate unique property id.

Would have made more sense if Jupix included the property record owner name in the xml feed, but there we are. At least there is a viable work around. I have not deployed this solution yet as I need to setup mobile numbers and a few other things first.

    Thanks for your help.

I can provide more insight if i can see the jupix feed. Even see if you can open the feed in your browser and save as an XML file and zip and upload here.

    Thanks
