COMPLETE: Sorting Shortcode Results

In my archive-listing.php file I followed the instructions to include sorting by price/date. This works great when I search or go to the general archive pages for properties.

But if I use the [listing_category] shortcode on a page, I no longer have the ability to sort by price/date. In fact, it breaks the listings if I try to wrap my loop with the epl_property_loop_start/end actions.

I have been digging through the plugin for hours and am no stranger to code, however I cannot seem to find where or what I can change to add this.

Basically, all I want to know is how can I add sorting to the shortcode output?
