Sort/Grid on page-template.php instead of archive template

Hey, can I bring the sort/grid buttons into a custom page template? I can use the shortcode to display the map and listings.. but doesn’t have the sort/grid :/

Also, can I change the order of what content is shown in the list view? I just need the Title, description, thumbnail, and link to more… a sample HTML mockup is on the third section of the homepage: http://edelman.cccomm.us/jedco/
