I actually have two queries, but this one is the most important, I’ll post the other later.

Having a bit of an issue with the Search widget in my sidebar. The code for the form is being displaced outside the widget container which is compromising the sidebar. Please could you take a look at http://www.mumsnetextra.com/test where I put it and let me know what the problem might be.

I did change to the Twenty Fifteen theme bundled with WP and the widget doesn’t even display.

It appears your theme is using ul and li wrappers to create the widget containers when it should use div or aside.

Are you attempting to enable the tabs as that may cause an issue with your theme and the sidebar using ul and li.

Are you able to adjust your theme to build widgets from div containers? But until then avoid the tab effect with the widget as we do not use any UL / LI in the code
