RightMove is a format used by many agency software solutions in UK & Europe.

DO you have (or could you build) a feed from Right Move.

Typically an agent software will drop a file an associate images into a directory and these need to get loaded into the portal.

Someone has done much of the coding here http://kodegeek.wordpress.com/2010/02/20/rightmove-data-parsing-php-class/

Attached is an example file and spec?

Any thoughts? (before I code it myself ugh!)

Thanks for the information on the RightMove format.

Can you provide the files again as they need to be in zip format eg the gemini.blm file. Perhaps use DropBox and share the link to the files / PDF.

I’ve seen the info site but have a couple questions:

Do you want to be able to import this format into Easy Property Listings?
And/or Export into this format from Easy Property Listings?

Do the files arrive as incremental or a combined single file with everything?

How many agents use this format? (best guess)

Can you provide any other links to sites that can assit me in understanding the end result other than the RightMove.co.uk site.

Just to let you know, I wrote a converter to convert the rightmove data to XML and trigger a WP All Import Pro cron conversion. Works a treat.

Can you clarify Rightmove for me.

Is this to push data from your site to Rightmove or to pull listings from Rightmove?

Thank you for your quick reply.

I’m looking for a solution to importing Rightmove blm files into WordPress. I was thinking about trying WP All Import Pro together with Easy Property Listings, but it looks like WP All Import works with XML or CVS only. I’ve seen Alan mentioning in this thread that he found a solution for converting Rightmove blm to xml, but half of this thread is marked as private and I was wandering if this was integrated into an addon or something.

Hi Lillian & Merv,

My solution take a .blm (right move) file and associated images and pre-processes into XML and triggers a cron call to WP All Import Pro

It was written as a bespoke project, but I have started to package as a commercial plugin.

I started to look for beta testers https://badlywired.com/2015/03/rightmove-blm-file-import-to-wordpress/
but have been too busy on other projects even to compose a beta test agreement yet.

If this is something that is worth money to you then I can take it off the back burner and start to prioritise it again.
