    Hi Merv,

    When viewing rental objects the first Archive template shows as I want it with the choosen widget EPL Search as configured.

    After search the result Archive template shows my rental search result but now the widget and layout has changed to the default layout wich contains the widgets Houses for sale. Below a short structure list. Use iBuilder themes and layouts.

    Rental Listing search (Rental) Search result

    I think that the search result template should be the rental page not the property page.

    Hope you know what I am trying to explain ……

    Hard to see the structure, perhaps this will be correct?

    Theme layout — EPL Widget Resulting ——- EPL Archive template

    Property———Listing search (Property)— Search result

    Rental———- Listing search (Rental)—– Search result

    Am aware of the issue and are working out how to correct this for searches

    Sorry Merv, still not working properly.

    Seems like the search result always use the default layout and do not take the layout from the Property page
    or from whatever I choose in Rental or Commercial pages.

    Every theme is different but you can use a plugin like Widget Logic and the conditional tags to specify the post type with a function for your widgets.

    is_post_type_archive( 'rental' ) or is_post_type_archive( 'commercial' ) and is_post_type_archive( ‘property’ )
