I’m looking to use this plugin to display MLS listings from my market, and I was a little bit worried about what kind of performance I would get by using WordPress and this plugin to display several thousand listings.
Currently, my market has around 7,500 active listings. I’m pretty sure that this number won’t be a problem for performance and speed. But, if I start to display sold listings, as well as expand to a couple nearby markets, the number of listings could EASILY reach into the hundreds of thousands.
I just want to make sure that I’ll continue to have quick response times with searches and listings.
ANSWER
No problem, your server will be the only issue you need to worry about. My code is targeted at 100,000+ listings.
