    Hi

I’m helping a friend out with is agency and setting him up a site.

I am in the process and have just started with your systems and so far it looks pretty amazing.

I am having troubles with a couple of things though and I am wondering if you can help me.

I have purchased and downloaded the templates option, but I have an issue with the page width in my single listing template… I have a full width master from the home page, which self sets to a more structured page through the remainder of the site, but the single listing page goes to full width and looks horrible. (with no formatting)

Glad you like it, you need to configure your theme correctly

I am having trouble with this as well, and followed that link, but I am not sure it is the correct link…

Individual property page spans the entire screen right to the very edge. I tried twenty different themes and each time it was the individual property page that makes me look for another theme, so it must be something I am doing wrong.

I was able to copy the archive.php and single.php pages, rename them to archive-listing.php and single-listing.php and make the changes from the tutorial here:

    http://easypropertylistings.com.au/docs/how-to-configure-your-wordpress-theme-template-files-if-required-to-display-your-property-listings-with-easy-property-listings/

In each file, I found the closest thing to the <? php get_template_part (‘content’); ?> and change it out.

I added the files to the template directory (I am using the Responsive Mobile theme) worked out well for me.

Thanks Rick, I also updated the link as it was to the wrong place.

Every theme is created differently and in recent WordPress versions the standard practice is as Rick mentions to replace the <?php get_template_part('content'); ?> with our action as per the documentation. One day WordPress will allow us to automatically do this but until then its a bit of copy/paste.

If your theme is a bit older and doesn’t use the get_template_part function the next one to look for is ‘the_content()’ or ‘the_excerpt()’

Then insert our actions above that. Then you can remove the excess HTML and php.

    Hi Merv

    I am using Kadence | Virtue as a Theme…

I am also trying to work out the options for the WP Import for the status of the property…
    EG:
    Availability
    1 On Hold
    2 For Sale
    3 Under Offer
    4 Sold STC
    5 Sold
    6 Withdrawn

I have other fields that are similar such as Price Qualifier…

Can you give a hint – tip on how to work this with the custom fields please.

I’d also like a quick tip on how to edit the TAB that says ‘Tour’ to show ‘PDF Download’

    Cheers

    Hi Trevor,

The template files for the Virtue theme are located here.

Please start a new topic for the WP All Import help.
