Mantra theme help?

I’ve spent the past 3 days with limited success on this plug-in. At first, all worked perfectly, except I could only see 2-3 inches of the listing info before it went off the right side of the page. I did the suggested fixes, and altered my layout, then had all where it needed to be, but it had “blog archives and POA twice along the top of the page, which is not coming from Mantra. I then added files to the functions php, it all crashed. Undid those changes, then altered the loop and action commands, and everything was duplicated on the page. I removed those, now I have numerous other comments and boxes on the page that were never there before above all the listing info., and the listing info is too close to left edge now. Any fixes? Thank you
