    Hey there I have some more questions on Up On The Rim. Her properties are very remote and we are having issues with the maps. The actual city they are in is Happy Jack but we are using the city as the subdivisions remember. I think this might be why the maps are off.

    We tried putting the actual geo-cordinates in the map area but they don’t seem to be overriding them. Shouldn’t any geo-corrdinates we put in over ride where the marker is?

    34.639502, -111.186833 are the correct coordinates.

    On the same site can I remove the Casa from the details page? We don’t even need to show what the house category is.

    We have updated the plugin to 2.1+ which addressed the coordinates issue and are updating extensions and correcting issues. First which version of Easy Property Listings are you using?

    Advanced Map extension has been updated and corrects the map issue if you are using that extension. Let me know if 2.1.2 has improved the map and coordinates issue when not using the Advanced Map extension.

    I did sorry just getting back to this. I know what the problem is. The actual city is Happy Jack but we are using that to separate the sub-divisions. The maps just are not working right even when we put in coordinates. The location of the map icon for 4544 shows one place in the back when you edit it and another on the live site.

    You had said that this next update would allow you to maybe pull up listings by the category. So instead of casa it would have the sub-divisions and I can pull it up that way. Did that happen? If I can set it up to separate them that way I can change all the listings to say Happy Jack as the city and hopefully fix the map.

    Totally checked every priority and basic ticket and responded to every single one…. No doubt a few slipped through and must your reply to this one. Looking into it

    Hey, can you help me disable the maps until they are fixed. My client is getting quite upset at them being wrong.

    We can re-activate after the fix.

    You are going to need to comment out the map in the listing templates template file in your plugins folder. I can’t access it from WordPress admin.

    plugins/epl-listing-templates/templates/{condensed.php}

    Look for the map function and comment it out in PHP to remove the map for now.

    However the map is generated with google maps and it looks like Google can’t find the addresses…

    Can you provide an image of a correct address?

    When we set this up to filter the places by sub-divsion you had me use the map city page for that. But the thing is the actual city is not the sub-division the actual city for all these listings is Happy Jack.

    Is there a way to filter these by category yet?

    Yes each shortcode has a location option now, here is the shortcode documentation. And we added a new shortcode [listing_location]
