    Hi, I had advanced mapping working perfectly until i activated an old property plugin. i deactivated the old property plugin and now advanced mapping does not work. It just defaults to a map of melbourne,( i’m in perth). is there a simple fix it to get the map working again. my url is directmove.com.au. i have disabled advanced maps until i can get it working again. FYI i am a regular computer user so i dont have extensive programming skills!
    thanks
    Pete

    Thanks for that Pete, you’ve found a bug in the Advanced Mapping plugin which is that a price with a apostrophe. On one of your listings was From $500,000’s and the way Javascript works, caused a map error.

    I changed the price to From $500,000.

    This has been addressed in the new version which will be released with Easy Property Listings v1.3.

    Also I’d recommend taking a look at the Location Profiles extension for some added SEO benefits and extra site stickiness.

    Basically every listing you have a suburb profile for you can inject that automatically in to the page like here under the map and you can customise the contents and tab titles.

    Example of a full location profile with integrates with all other extensions using location.

    Hi Merv,

    That’s great, all works perfectly again! Thanks for your help.

    I will look into the location profiles as it looks like a neat little feature.

    I have another question about the Property list archive page- when selecting the Property card style sometimes not all properties will appear on the same line so you’ll have 3 on one line then 1 on the next then 2 on the third line. Am i filling in the information wrong? is there a way to stop this from happening?

    Thanks
    Pete

    Looks almost correct to me Peter,

    Visit YOUR_URL/property/

    The issue is you need to follow this guide to put the sidebar to the right of your listings.

    Every theme developer creates templates slightly differently. Follow that guide for better integration.

    Ah, the property card style way need a minor CSS tweak to fit your theme better and the way HTML div’s work. Add this line to your theme CSS.

    .epl-property-blog.project-card {
    	min-height: 430px;
    }

    The update we are working on has a masonry effect that can be used also.

    You may need to add some responsive css for your site too to set the min-height for other screen sizes.

    Each template style has a UNIQUE selector in the Project card case its.

    .epl-property-blog.project-card

    Suburb Top is

    .epl-property-blog.suburb-top
