    Hi,

I’m having an issue with property display in a custom theme built using the Ultimatum Framework. Our test install is http://www.redboxgraphicdesign.co.uk/moveandsave if you could kindly take a look…
Once we can get it to work properly i will purchase a few add-ons but need to have it working first.

    Many thanks

    Hi Mark,

    Have you followed this tutorial?

    http://easypropertylistings.com.au/docs/how-to-configure-your-wordpress-theme-template-files-if-required-to-display-your-property-listings-with-easy-property-listings/

Also please provide a copy of your archive.php, single.php and index.php files. Zip and attach here so we can help.

    Hi Merv,

Yes I have gone through that, however Ultimatum strangely does’t use ANY of the 3 .php files listed within its framework. Does this mean you can’t help? (I obviously greatly appreciate your input anyway BTW)

    Many thanks,
    Mark

What you will need to do is copy the archive-listing.php and single-listing.php file into your theme from plugins/easy-property-listings/lib/templates/themes/

Inside that folder are three theme folders that all generate the page template slightly differently. Try first with the files in the default folder.

Next add the correct wrapper classes around the function inside the template files. Again I can’t help without a file from inside your active theme.

Is there a page.php or anything? in your theme? Ultimatum does not have any files I can download unless you supply them to me.

What files are inside the active theme folder?

Some themes do not support custom post types. Thesis being one that does not support a critical feature of WordPress since version 3.0.

Does your theme have an archive.php, page.php, index.php, single.php files? Thats what we need a copy of to help you. Or provide your URL and admin login information so we can help.

Can you add the files archive-listing.php and single-listing.php from the plugin folder into your theme.

Irrespective of how this theme works this is how the plugin works. Once you have added thoes two files fia FTP I can edit and add the wrapper classes to the template files and get it working for you

I’ve added the wrapper classes to the theme, this is 50% of the work, now you need to figure out how the sidebar is added with that theme.

Hi Merv, I’m having to bail on the Ultimatum theme as the sidebars issue has taken away my will to live! (long story..) LOL

Is the plugin compatible with iThemes Builder as I need the flexibility of a builder over a standard theme as my client keeps changing his mind over the layout and it obviously faster to use a builder!?

    Many thanks,
    Mark

I’ve just realised what a silly question the above is… doh! Very tired, apologies. : )
