Hi, great plugin. Thanks for working to make it easy to integrate into our own theme code. I noticed you use jQuery to switch classes for the archive grid view rather than a separate template “loop” file. What do you think is the best way for me to edit this?

I’d like to inject my own classes and replace a few of yours as I’m fundamentally re-structuring the template file to suit my own frameworks grid system. Correct me if I’m wrong but I didn’t think WordPress’ template file heirarchy extended to javascript files; eg. it’s not as simple as putting my own copy of jquery-front-scripts.js somewhere in my theme folder.

I suppose I could copy the function to my own scripts file and delete it from yours after each update but that doesn’t seem ideal either. Anyway, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

What you can do is create your own templates using this guide.

Here is an example which uses custom templates loaded from your theme folder
